1. MELBOURNE and NEARBY.  Elegant Melbourne is Australia's sporting and food capital.  Close by are Mount Macedon, Phillip Island and Mornington Peninsula
2. YARRA VALLEY and the DANDENONG RANGES. The Yarra Valley has been transformed in recent years from a sleepy pastoral area into a world renowned wine area set against the beautiful backdrop of the Great Dividing Ranges
3. BALLARAT and the GOLDFIELDS.  Highlights are the goldrush towns of Bendigo, Castlemaine and Ballarat, home to Sovereign Hill, a living gold era museum.  Nearby is the Spa Country including Daylesford
4. GREAT OCEAN ROAD. A 288 km drive along the spectacular south west coast of the state, including through part of the Otways National Park - do not miss it
5. GRAMPIANS and WESTERN VICTORIA. The spectacular ranges of the Grampians National Park loom up dramatically out of the pastoral plains of the western district.  Also features the lovely Pyrenees Wine area
6. EASTERN VICTORIA including HIGH COUNTRY. In the south is beautiful and rugged Wilsons Promontory, whilst pioneering Beechworth town is gateway to the delights of Victoria’s High Country.  Walhalla is a hidden gem in Gippsland
7. MILDURA and MURRAY RIVER. The mighty Murray River forms the state border between Victoria and NSW from just west of Mildura to the Snowy Mountains in the south east
