Day 1
Collect your rental vehicle in Hobart spend the rest of the day here at
leisure.
Overnight:
Lenna of Hobart
Day 2
Today enjoy a scenic drive to Strahan. A short detour en route into the
Mt Field National Park and Russell Falls is well worthwhile.

Day 3
Leave Strahan and drive to Cradle Mountain.
Overnight:
Cradle Mountain Lodge (Pencil Pine Cabin - includes breakfast)
Day 4
Remain at Cradle Mountain today to explore the area. Covering some of
Tasmania's highest country, the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair
National Park, with its many lakes and mountain peaks, is famous
for its magnificent alpine scenery.
Overnight:
Cradle Mountain Lodge (Pencil Pine Cabin - includes breakfast)
Day 5
Depart Cradle Mountain and drive to Launceston where you drop off your
hire car. |

Included |
- 4 nights accommodation - on a room only basis unless otherwise stated
- Car hire - 5 days Hertz Group C rental vehicle (1.8 litre midsize
2-4 Door, automatic, air conditioned Hyundai Elandra or similar)
including unlimited mileage.
- ACFR - Airport Concession Fee Recovery waived.
Normally required when collecting a vehicle from an airport, but this
fee is waived on our self drive packages.
- Co-pilot pack: A quality backpack containing maps,
directions, discounts etc

Please note that Australian
hotels may have varying surcharges and minimum stay requirements during
holiday periods and peak times - for instance Lenna of Hobart
has a 3 night min stay applies during New Years Eve 31 Dec 10.
You may depart on your Self Drive on any day but note that overnights en route on a Friday or Saturday may have a weekend surcharge.
One way rental fees do not apply to this itinerary.
