WEATHER
Broome - Broome's climate is something to boast about - warm sunny
days, balmy nights and spectacular storms during the tropical summer. It
is a city with just two seasons - and they're both warm! The 'cooler'
months of April to October bring rainless, balmy days, while November to
March bask in higher temperatures and monsoonal rains. Average cool
season temperatures reach about 30º Celsius in the day and a low
of 15º Celsius at night. Warm season highs are 33º Celsius in the day
and 26º Celsius at night.
Perth - with its Mediterranean climate is the perfect sunny
Australian capital city, averaging eight hours of sunshine a day, year
round. It has four seasons, with average temperatures of around 30º
Celsius in summer and around 18º Celsius in winter. January to March
are usually the hottest months, with temperatures sometimes rising to
40º Celsius at this time. However, the heat is dry and the 'Fremantle
Doctor' - a refreshing south westerly ocean breeze - can be relied upon
to bring mid-afternoon relief.
